We believe in
less waste for
a happier planet
At Verandah, sustainability and luxury go hand in hand. We employ a closed loop design system for almost all our textiles and work on a small batch production model. Our process involves personally designing and supervising our collections at our Mumbai Atelier and working with manufacturers who, like us, believe in bringing about resolute sustainable changes. We use our post production waste to design accessories, lifestyle items and our signature recycled denim pieces. Besides that we also use regenerated and biodegradable yarns from the best manufacturers in the world. We use GOTS certified organic cotton to support farmers and fair trade practices.

Regenerated Textiles
Materials Matter

Regenerated Nylon
Our swimwear is made with Econyl® yarn – a regenerated nylon produced using waste fishing nets, fabric scraps and carpets. It is infinitely recyclable.

Wood Based Fabrics
Most of our garments also use cellulose fibers that are woven into biodegradable plant based fabrics.

Regenerated Cotton
Our silks and satins use Bemberg™ Cupro, a regenerated cellulose fiber made from cotton which is completely biodegradable in two months.

Reducing our carbon footprint
We believe the world of eco fashion is boundless and all of us must interpret it in our own meaningful ways. By adopting a zero- waste ideology, we are taking a step towards being carbon negative by 2022. Right from planting a tree for each garment sold by tying up with Sankalp Taru to adopting closed loop design practices we not only aspire to reimagine design and but opt for “conscious” practices for all our future endeavours. It is the beginning of a revolution and we’re glad to be a part of it.

One plant for every purchase
For every purchase you make a tree is planted by the good folks at SankalpTaru in a forest regeneration project we have adopted.
